Water catchment, drip irrigation, and permaculture principles are incorporated to make the most of precious water resources for vegetables, flowers, and young fruit trees growing in the native landscape.

About your Guide: Lynn Walters has gardened in Santa Fe for almost 40 years. She is a former restaurateur and the founder of Cooking with Kids, a Santa Fe non-profit that educates and empowers children and families to make healthy food choices through hands-on learning with fresh, affordable foods. Lynn is the author of Cooking at the Natural Café in Santa Fe and co-author of The Cooking with Kids Cookbook.
