Leonora Curtin Wetland Preserve
Adult Education with the Santa Fe Botanical Garden
At the Santa Fe Botanical Garden, we offer programs geared specifically for adults and their gardening, art, and environmental education. Learn from the experts during hands-on workshops and hikes on topics such as pruning, landscaping design, and the history of ethnobotanicals in Northern New Mexico.
Classes are held at the Santa Fe Botanical Garden, the Stewart Udall Building on Museum Hill, or at the Leonora Curtin Wetland Preserve. Check each class listing for the specific location.
Special Series and Class Offerings
During our ed-ventures, we hit the road! Tours include hikes in the nearby mountains, visits to local gardens, and more.
Throughout the year, we offer lectures and lecture series about specific and relevant topics to our ecosystem. Keep an eye out for the Fall/Winter Lecture Series, designed to give students an ‘armchair’ tour of gardens and relevant topics around the world, and the Sustainability Series in April to celebrate Earth Day.
There is no better place to settle your mind than in nature. Mindfulness classes are offered periodically throughout the summer in yoga and Tai Chi (based on instructor availability).
