Museum Hill Trail (Phase 1) was planned, designed and constructed through a collaboration between the City of Santa Fe and Santa Fe Botanical Garden to develop a rustic trail for bicyclists and pedestrians along the existing “Old Lejo Road” alignment; the trail provides access to the botanical garden’s pedestrian paths in addition to providing an urban arterial for non-motorized traffic in the area.

The trail runs from Camino Corrales to Old Pecos Trail (exact distance  is 1989 ft = 0.4 miles) alongside Arroyo de los Pinos providing a glimpse into the future Botanical Garden at Museum Hill. This is the most beautiful segment of the city-wide bike trail network.
