The Botanical Garden at Museum Hill recently opened its temporary Visitors’ Center.  As spring and summer approaches and the Garden is open every day, we need volunteers to work in the Garden Gift Shop and sell admissions and memberships.

The Visitors’ Center volunteers are the first face of the garden, greeting guests, distributing visitor materials, and talking up the glories of the seasonal garden before guests enter. Training is required.

Visitors’ Center staff may opt for a flexible schedule, with no set weekly or monthly time commitment. Visitors’ Center volunteers can work once a week, every other week, or just occasionally, filling in for absentees.

If you enjoy people and want to work in the Garden, but you are not comfortable learning botanical names of plants and giving garden tours, this is the job for you.
