Forest Therapy is a facilitated sensory nature connection experience. The walk itself is not a hike, there is no destination. During the two hour experience, participants will be guided through a series of sensory-based activities called “invitations.” It is an opportunity to slow down, pay attention and engage with life. Some benefits include: reduced stress level, lower blood pressure, connection with your senses, and an opportunity to cultivate a relationship with the more-than-human world. This walk is for 18 years and up. No experience necessary.

Maura Finn is a certified Forest Therapy Guide through ANFT and holds her certificate in Wilderness First Aid. In addition, she is an educator, writer, energy medicine and crisis/trauma therapist, expressive arts facilitator, yoga instructor and lover of nature, animals, and children of all ages. As a nomadic spirit, she has traveled the world and lived in many countries to learn more about healing, connection and presence. Most recently, she spent the last three and a half years living on a tropical island in Thailand. Her deepest love is to support others in coming back to nature and their hearts through simple ways of being.
