The Santa Fe Botanical Garden will be hosting monthly Garden Conversations at Weldon’s Museum Hill Cafe from April thru September.  Please join them for their inaugural breakfast, April 28th where multi-media, conservation artist, Christina M. Selby, and New Mexico Museum of Art Photography Curator, Katherine Ware, discuss Christina’s new photography exhibition entitled: Piñon Country: Illuminating the Interdependence of Life in the Iconic Woodland of the Arid West There will also be a book signing by Christina and tour of the exhibit following breakfast. This event is generously supported by the Barbara Goede Foundation and Weldon’s Museum Hill Cafe. Space is limited to 35 people.

When:  Friday, April 28, 2023, 8:30am -10:30am-breakfast, 10:30am -11:30 am-tour.

Where: Weldon’s Museum Hill Café, 710 Camino Lejo, Santa Fe, NM 87505

Cost:  $32.00 for Garden members, $40.00 for non-members.

Christina M. Selby is a photojournalist and nature photographer, filmmaker, and writer based in Santa Fe. She uses multimedia storytelling as a powerful tool to both share the beauty of the planet and motivate others to act on behalf of nature. Her work focuses on rare and endangered species and ecosystems, and the people working to save them.

Katherine Ware is Curator of Photography at the New Mexico Museum of Art in Santa Fe.  She has curated numerous exhibitions, including Earth Now: American Photographers and the Environment. Prior to coming to Santa Fe, she was Curator of Photography at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Assistant Curator at the J. Paul Getty Museum.
