Celebrate the holidays this December at the Santa Fe Botanical Garden’s new winter holiday event: La Luz de las Noches – “The Light of the Nights.” Come stroll the farolito lined Garden pathways while sipping on a warm seasonal drink. Twinkling holiday lights will lead you to at least two live performers each night and sweet and savory holiday treats are available throughout the Garden (non-alcoholic beverages and snacks are included in the price of admission).

Saturday, December 30th, we will have Charlene Holy Bear (Standing Rock Lakota Sioux) (Fashion-Beadwork) in the Gift Shop, Acoma Pueblo Enchantment Dancers in the Hendricksen Pavilion and Earth Surface People in the Berlin Amphitheater Tent!

Purchase tickets for Saturday here.

Twinkling holiday lights will lead you to at least two live performers each night and sweet holiday treats (non-alcoholic beverages and sweets are included in the price of admission). The festivities begin each night at 4:30 pm and conclude at 7:30 pm (last admission is at 7:00 pm). In this inaugural year of La Luz de las Noches, the Garden is pleased to highlight a number of Indigenous performers and artisans in acknowledgement that the land on which the Garden is sited is the ancestral homeland of the Tewa people.

Don’t miss the opening weekend when local distillery and botanical cocktail wizard, As Above So Below will offer a cash bar of wine and craft cocktails, including a special Garden signature drink for the event: “La Luz.” And as a special treat, award winning chef Rainbird Taylor (Ohkay Owingeh) and his YaPopup kitchen will be serving his distinctive Indigenous Soul Food that weekend (be sure to bring your credit/debit card – cash not accepted).

And be sure to stop by the Garden’s Visitor Center/Gift Shop to shop for those last-minute holiday gifts!
