Orientation for Volunteer Gardeners – to register, email volunteer@santafebotanicalgarden.org
What: This orientation is required for new volunteers who would like to work in our Museum Hill garden. Volunteers must first attend General Volunteer Orientation before the Orientation for Volunteer Gardeners. Director of Horticulture Linda Churchill will show potential volunteers the ropes around the garden, including everything from where the shed and tools are located, to communication protocols for inclement weather. Opportunities abound for special gardening activities such as compost management, irrigation work, and more! Unfortunately, we are unable to accept new volunteer gardeners this summer until August.
When: August 2nd or September 6th at 9AM, lasts about an hour.
Where: meets outside the Santa Fe Botanical Garden Visitors Center, 715 Camino Lejo, Santa Fe, NM 87505
