Look for blue, green, white, or orange flags in four areas of the garden, to discover which native plants have been added to our plant collection on Museum Hill. Volunteer Pollinator Trail teams will be watching, watering, and caring for the new plants over the coming year, with each team color-coded to match the plant group they’re caring for: the Orange Team, the Blue Team, etc.

We look forward to seeing more native bees, butterflies, and other pollinators in our Garden as we increase the pollen- and nectar-bearing native flowers in our collection.  Meanwhile, head gardener Linda has challenged the Pollinator Trail team members to learn the names of the plants under their care.  Applause for the plantings, and encouragement for the work that continues!

Plants are labeled with stakes that provide name information as well as bloom time and water requirement.
