Have you ever wondered how best to xeric your property? Come to this class to learn the seven fundamentals of xeric landscaping, where we will break down how best to balance your wants and needs in order to accomplish a successful water wise landscape. We will talk about soil types, plants selection, proper planning and correct maintenance. Creating a xeric landscape takes many steps and we will walk you down the path to a successful xeric landscape design.

About your Instructor: Christopher Schlouski is a landscape designer for Heads Up Landscape Contractors. He have a double bachelors degree in landscape horticulture and landscape architecture from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale. Schlouski has his masters degree in landscape architecture (MLA) from the University of New Mexico. He has been a landscape professional for over 17 years, starting as a ditch digger and working his way up to landscape architect.
